About Us

Our focus is to promote local businesses, improve growth, help gain access to opportunities to make connections, meet potential new clients and increase exposure for your organization.

Our Mission

We look for ways to improve and promote commerce and to foster an energetic business climate in La Grange Park. As part of our mission, we provide education, marketing, and networking opportunities to our members as well as business in the neighboring area.

Benefits of Membership

Networking

The Chamber provides many opportunities for networking. Through sharing common experiences, networking helps improve business performance and products. Networking provides opportunities for learning, it facilitates partnerships, and it makes connections with potential customers. For small businesses, networking can provide a lifetime of support as well as generate business.

Marketing

The Chamber regularly engages in marketing efforts where members jointly sponsor events and advertising. By combining the investment of time and sharing the costs, members have the competitive advantage of larger events and advertising efforts. Members also have the benefit of advertising their businesses through our monthly newsletter and website. Advertising in conjunction with the Village of La Grange Park every week is offered in the “E-Briefs.”

Education

Monthly membership meetings feature an educational component present by area speakers who are both leaders in the business community and experts in their field.

Community & Member Events

The Chamber supports the greater community through its participation in events such as the Run for the Roses 5K, Chili Cook-Off, Haunted Trolley, Winter Wonderland Walk-Thru, and more.

Member events include Business After-Hours, Monthly Chamber Meetings, Annual Dinner, and more.

Liaison with the Village of La Grange Park

The Village has designated a liaison to work with the Chamber to provide support services to assist in the furtherance of shared community goals.

Advertising

For just $175 per year, you get your business name out to the community in several different ways: group ads, events sponsorship and free email advertising. For people doing business in the Village of La Grange Park, this is an excellent and inexpensive way to market your business.

“Being new to the community, I was looking for an organization that I could get involved in that served the La Grange Park Business Community as well as the neighborhood/residents. The La Grange Park Chamber was the perfect fit for me. They host a variety of event, which benefit both sectors, and also afford me the opportunity to network with the business community through the Business After-Hours.”
